Featuring information and exhibits about local history, including the Ed Dodd/Mark Trail Memorabilia Exhibit, a black history exhibit, a fine exhibit of industrial history and arts and crafts by North Georgians, and a separate railroad museum. A General James Longstreet exhibit, as well as information for a self-guided Longstreet Tour, is also available

Directions From Atlanta
North on I-85 to I-985. Off at Exit 22. Left into US129. In Gainesville follow Business US129 to Brenau Ave. Right into Brenau Ave. History Center and parking on Left.

From Athens
West ON US129. In Gainesville follow Business US129 to Brenau Ave. Right into Brenau Ave. History Center and parking on left.

From Dawsonville
East on S.R.53. At Home Depot continue straight on S.R.53 Connector (John Morrow Parkway.) Left into Jesse Jewell Parkway then left into EE Butler Parkway. Turn right into Brenau Ave. History Center and parking on left.

From Dahlonega
South on S.R.60 into Gainesville on Green St. Veer left at stoplight into EE Butler Parkway. At second cross street, left into Brenau Ave. History Center on left.

From Cleveland
South on US129 into Gainesville on Green St. Veer left at stoplight into EE Butler Parkway. At second cross street, left into Brenau Ave. History Center on left.

From Toccoa
South on S.R.365 into I-985. Off at Exit 22. Right into US129 in Gainesville follow Business US129 to Brenau Ave. Right into Brenau Ave. History Center and parking on left.
Hours 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday through Saturday
Fees $5 for adults, $4 for Seniors (65 and over), $3 for students (18 and under), and free for children under six years of age.
