Visit the many wineries of the new North Georgia Wine
Country. Explore the beautiful vineyards and taste the new varieties
that are winning awards for superlative wine.
Northeast Georgia is home to award winning wineries and is becoming
a well known wine destination.
Visitors can taste local favorites, like Muscadine and Scuppernong
wines, or premium European wines, such as Chardonnay, Merlot, Viognier
and Cabernet. Northeast Georgia Wineries are within one to two hours
from Gainesville and Atlanta.

Winery Tips:
- Operating hours of each winery may vary. Please call ahead.
- The wineries are spread out through Northeast Georgia. Plan
on staying overnight and enjoying more the next day.
- Bring your ID with you. The wineries are instructed to card
everyone.
- Select a designated driver. Make sure you reward your friend
with a bottle of wine to consume later.
- Include lunch or some kind of meal, or dine in one of our fabulous
restaurants.
